2015 Winners Ceremony at LIDS

There was no better place to hold the winners ceremony for the innaugral 2015 Underwater Photographer of the Year competition than at the London International Dive show.

The top 24 winning images were printed onto high-quality aliminium mounts and given centre stage within the show's 'PhotoZone' area, which is fast becomming THE place for underwater photographers to congregate, swap ideas and listen to talks given on various subjects by experts from around the world.

With Alex Mustard as master of ceremonies the 90 minute show-peice emphasized the aims of the competition and praised the winning photographers for their imaginative entries.

The 2016 award ceremony hoped to have all three judges present an available to discuss the judging process and give feedback to any one who entered the competition... all part of what makes the UPY competition so different.
